I Am Returning

I am returning
I haven't been anywhere
but I'm back and I
missed you
did you notice?
perhaps not . . .
     I did take
a different route
it was longer and I
saw many things I've
longed to see and have not
seen before
daydreaming can bring
about new experiences
I notice
as I contemplate the fact
that I have not moved
from my seat
but my mind has gone
exploring.
